With 36 years of experience in education, including roles as a Special Educator, Special Education Director, SELPA Director, Assistant Superintendent, and Associate Superintendent, I am committed to educational excellence. I believe every student deserves a high-quality education and should graduate with the skills and options needed for future success, whether through higher education or career technical certifications.

My extensive experience with diverse students, including those with special needs, has uniquely prepared me to support our Cambria community. Even in retirement, I continue to volunteer, tutoring English Language Learners and supporting students during the COVID pandemic with literacy and science.

Living on Evensong Way in Area 1, I cherish our Cambria community. Growing up on an apple orchard in Watsonville, California, I carry a deep passion for education and a strong dedication to serving all students. I am excited to bring this passion to the Coast Unified School District as a School Board Member for Area 1.
